Current Position
As an administrator, I am responsible for the Science Department, Athletic Department, Physical Education, and Electives on my campus. I am accountable for the health and welfare of over 1050 students and 80 adults. Riverwood Middle School is ranked at “Exemplary” for the second year, which is the highest-ranking possible from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). While I truly love the personal and the students at middle school my passion remains working with high school students and helping them get started on a career path.
Education
I currently hold a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston and a Bachelor in Occupational Training and Development from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas.
Professional Tidbits
CTE remains my passion; I still volunteer with the Ford/AAA automotive contest every year and maintain my membership in Texas Industrial Vocational Association as well as my fraternity, Iota Lambda Sigma.
